AP's Technology Partnership with Russia's Sberbank

A meeting was held in Moscow with Albert Yefimov, Senior Vice President of Sberbank, one of Russia’s leading state controlled retail banking institutions. During the discussion, a request was made to expand Sberbank’s GigaChat large language model services to India’s banking, public administration, and retail sectors.

The discussions also focused on strengthening the security of India’s UPI network through technical cooperation. Support was sought for Sberbank’s advanced voice recognition and biometric anti-fraud technologies. In addition, structured financing assistance was requested for pharmaceutical and agricultural exporters from Andhra Pradesh to help boost their global competitiveness.
