Gold and silver prices are witnessing a sharp rally across both domestic and international markets. On Wednesday, silver prices in the Delhi spot market recorded a massive jump. Silver surged by ₹7,300 per kilogram to reach ₹2,05,800, marking a new all-time high.
In the global market, silver prices also touched record levels. The price of silver rose to $66.52 per ounce (31.10 grams), creating a historic benchmark.
Gold prices followed a similar upward trend. In the Delhi market, 10 grams of pure gold increased by ₹600 to ₹1,36,500. Internationally, 24-carat gold climbed to $4,335 per ounce, reflecting strong investor demand.
So far this year, silver has delivered exceptional returns to domestic investors. The rise in prices has resulted in a gain of ₹1,18,533 per kilogram, translating to nearly 135% returns. Market experts attribute the surge to strong global demand, economic uncertainty, and safe-haven buying.
