Gold prices witnessed a sharp rise on Wednesday. The price of 24-carat pure gold, which had crossed the ₹1.50 lakh mark for the first time recently, climbed even higher. In the Hyderabad bullion market, gold was priced at ₹1,52,800 late Tuesday night at 11:55 PM, and within a single day on Wednesday, it jumped by over ₹6,000 to reach ₹1,59,000.
Silver prices also followed an upward trend, crossing ₹3,19,000 per kilogram. The continued rise in precious metal prices has drawn increased attention from buyers and investors.
