Google has officially launched the Google Finance app for Android, offering users a dedicated platform to track investments, monitor real-time market data, and access AI-powered financial insights. The app includes personalised watchlists, live stock prices, financial news, and an AI-driven “Key Moments” feature that explains major stock price movements. Users can also analyse companies, sectors, and market trends using Google's integrated AI research tools.
Alongside the Android app, Google has upgraded the Google Finance web platform with enhanced portfolio management features. Users can now consolidate investments into a single dashboard, upload holdings through CSV, PDF, or screenshots, and receive AI-generated market briefings on a custom schedule. The new features are rolling out globally, while an iOS version of the Google Finance app is expected to launch later this year.
