Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi produced a brilliant innings against India, scoring his maiden international century in the ODI clash. Shahidi reached 102 runs off 128 deliveries, smashing 13 boundaries and one six. His composed knock came at a crucial stage and helped Afghanistan post a competitive total despite regular wickets falling at the other end.
However, India’s bowling attack dominated the match, with Prasidh Krishna emerging as the standout performer. The pacer claimed five wickets and played a key role in restricting Afghanistan to 218 runs. Chasing a target of 219, India will look to capitalize on its strong batting lineup and secure a comfortable victory.
