BCCI Support Continues for Rahane After Retirement

Although Ajinkya Rahane has retired from international cricket, benefits provided to former players by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) continue beyond their playing careers. The pension scheme introduced by BCCI recognises the contribution and years of service of eligible former Indian cricketers.

Under the revised pension structure, former players who meet the eligibility criteria receive monthly payments based on their service and cricketing contributions. The highest revised pension slab allows eligible former cricketers to receive up to ₹70,000 per month, reflecting BCCI’s continued support and appreciation for its former stars.
