The Telangana government has taken a major step towards digital governance by approving the implementation of a Digital Cabinet system. The decision was taken during a special meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. Under the new initiative, cabinet meetings will be conducted entirely in a paperless format, marking a significant move toward modern and efficient administration.
As part of the Digital Cabinet rollout, Information Technology Minister Sridhar Babu distributed special tablets to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and all cabinet ministers. The Chief Minister personally reviewed the functioning of the system. Cabinet agendas, documents, and related information will be accessed digitally through the tablets, reinforcing the government's commitment to transparent and eco-friendly governance.
