Amid escalating tensions in West Asia, more than 278 international flight services from India have been cancelled. Aviation authorities said several flights from major international airports, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, were affected. The cancellations were reportedly made as a precautionary measure due to the evolving security situation in the region.
To assist passengers stranded in West Asia, several airlines have arranged limited special flight services. SpiceJet announced that it would operate 14 special flights on Friday. Of these, nine flights from Fujairah will land in Mumbai, four will arrive in Delhi, and one flight from Dubai will reach Pune. The airline also stated that it had operated a total of 25 special flights over the past three days to facilitate passenger travel.
