US President Donald Trump has made it clear that the United States will govern Venezuela until a safe and fair transfer of power takes place in the country. He stated that American rule in Venezuela will continue until the country's security is fully stabilized. Speaking to the media at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, Trump said this was a crucial decision taken for the security of the American people.
Trump said that the oil sector in Venezuela has become completely chaotic, and that American companies will develop infrastructure there and generate revenue. He revealed that they have completely neutralized the country's military and cut off the power supply in the capital Caracas during the attacks. Issuing a warning to leaders who support Maduro, Trump clarified that with the end of the dictatorial rule, the people of Venezuela have gained freedom, and the US will move forward in strengthening them economically.
