Team India’s young cricketer Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been honoured with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, the highest civilian award for children in India. The honour was conferred in recognition of his exceptional talent in cricket at a very young age and his dedication to the sport. Vaibhav received the award from the hands of the President of India Droupadi murmu, marking a significant milestone in his sporting career.
In 2025, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi created rare records with his extraordinary batting performances. At just 14 years of age, he scored centuries across multiple levels, including the IPL, Youth ODI, Youth Test, India A, SMAT, Under-19 Asia Cup, and the Vijay Hazare Trophy, earning widespread recognition. Recently, he stunned the cricketing world by smashing 190 runs off just 60 balls in a match, drawing nationwide attention and once again proving that he has the potential to become a key player for Team India in the future.
