The Medaram Maha Jatara concludes today

The Medaram Sammakka-Saralamma Maha Jatara, which was celebrated with great grandeur in Telangana, will conclude today. After granting darshan to millions of devotees, Sammakka and Saralamma will return to the forest. On Friday alone, approximately 50 lakh devotees offered their prayers to the goddesses. Officials estimate that nearly 1.50 crore devotees have attended the festival, which began on February 28th, until yesterday. ​​The Medaram area resonated with devotion and reverence due to the massive influx of devotees. This grand festival will be held again after two years.
