Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron regarding the latest developments and rising tensions in West Asia. The two leaders discussed the ongoing war like situation and exchanged views on the current geopolitical conditions in the region.
Sharing details on X Modi said he spoke with his “friend” Macron and expressed mutual concerns about the evolving situation in West Asia. Both leaders agreed that dialogue and diplomacy are the best ways to resolve the crisis and stressed the need to restore peace and stability in the region. Modi also said India will continue close coordination with France and work towards ensuring peace as soon as possible.
