

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has responded strongly to the vandalism of the Kapaleswara Swamy Shiva Lingam by unidentified persons at the famous Draksharama Bhimeswara Temple in Ambedkar Konaseema district. The CM spoke with Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and inquired about the details of the incident. Minister Anam informed the CM that he had discussed the matter with the district SP, Collector, and the local minister.
Special police teams have been formed to identify the accused. The CM directed that the culprits be identified and punished severely. He also ordered that updates on the ongoing investigation be provided to him regularly. Minister Anam explained to the CM that a new Shiva Lingam has been reinstalled at the damaged site as per Vedic rituals. The reinstallation was performed in a traditional manner with the guidance of Vedic scholars and priests, in the presence of Endowments Department officials.
