

Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu has invited leading industrialists to invest in the state and become partners in ‘Telangana Rising’. He said Telangana offers a business-friendly environment and progressive policies and called on investors to work with the state government and contribute to its growth.
The minister represented the Telangana government at the India Pavilion inauguration during the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos. Speaking on the occasion, he said the government believes in building the future rather than waiting for it. He added that Telangana is working with a clear vision to increase its share in India’s GDP to 10 percent by 2047.
Sridhar Babu stated that a comprehensive roadmap has been prepared to grow Telangana’s economy to 3 trillion dollars by 2047, with support from experts, industry leaders, and the public. He highlighted strong investment opportunities in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, IT, electronics, semiconductors, aerospace, defence, textiles, food processing, agro-based industries, renewable energy and green technologies. He noted that Telangana attracted around ₹2.5 lakh crore in investments over the last two years through Davos engagements. The minister also announced the launch of Life Sciences Policy 2.0 and the Telangana AI Innovation Hub, aiming to strengthen the global presence of the Telangana brand.
