International immigration attorney Nadadur S Kumar stated that significant changes have been introduced in US visa regulations. Speaking at a press conference held in Madhapur on Monday, he revealed that there has been a nearly 50 percent decline in F-1 visas issued to Indian students. He noted that changes in H-1B visa rules, increased fees, and prolonged waiting periods for green cards have created uncertainty for many Indian professionals.
In this scenario, the EB-5 Investor Program has emerged as a safe and faster alternative for Indians, he said. Immigration has become a major topic in global political and economic discussions, with Indian applicants facing unprecedented scrutiny and delays across student visas, work visas, and green card backlogs. He explained that by investing USD 800,000 in regional centers located in targeted employment areas, eligible applicants can obtain a US green card more efficiently.
