Christopher Nolan’s visual spectacle ‘The Odyssey’ has reportedly been hit by piracy, with a high-quality copy of the full film surfacing online. The leaked version reportedly appeared on social media platform X and attracted nearly 2.1 million views within a few hours, raising concerns for the makers. The production company responded by initiating action under copyright laws and taking steps to have the leaked video links and the account responsible for sharing the content removed from social media platforms.
Despite the reported piracy setback, ‘The Odyssey’ continues to perform strongly at the box office. The film is said to be approaching the $700 million mark worldwide, while its performance in India has also remained impressive. After crossing ₹100 crore gross during its first week, the film has reportedly collected around ₹147 crore in India. Directed by Nolan and based on Homer’s ancient Greek epic ‘The Odyssey’, the film arrived amid massive global expectations.
