Ravi Teja is going through a tough phase in his career. Most of his recent films failed at the box office, and fans are blaming his poor story choices. After the failure of Mass Jathara, his next film Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi directed by Kishore Tirumala looks like a fun-filled entertainer. The first glimpse received a good response from viewers.
However, releasing the film during Sankranti 2026 could be a big risk, as several major films - The Raja Saab, Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu, Anaganaga Oka Raju, Nari Nari Naduma Murari - are hitting screens the same week. Even Tamil biggies like Vijay’s Jana Nayakudu and Siva Karthikeyan’s Parashakthi are lined up.
With so much competition, Ravi Teja’s film may find it hard to get enough screens and sustain collections. Experts feel it would have been better for him to choose a solo release date to make a strong comeback.
