No More Guest Roles - Vijay Sethupathi

Actor Vijay Sethupathi has announced that he will no longer take up guest or cameo roles in films. He revealed that he agreed to appear in Jailer 2 only because of superstar Rajinikanth and said it would be his final exception.

Sethupathi explained that in Rajinikanth's film, the audience would naturally focus on the superstar regardless of his presence. However, in smaller films, producers often use his image for promotions, which he believes affects the identity and market of the films in which he plays the lead role. He is currently working on his upcoming film Slum Dog.
