Naseeruddin Shah to Enter ‘Kalki 2’?

Every new update about Tollywood star Prabhas’ highly anticipated sequel Kalki 2 is generating interest. The film is being made as a continuation of the 2024 blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD. The shooting has already begun, with one schedule reportedly completed. Now, reports have surfaced that Bollywood veteran Naseeruddin Shah has been approached for a key role in the project. If confirmed, this would mark his first Telugu film in his 51-year cinematic journey. He was recently appreciated for his performance in Main Vaapas Aaunga, directed by Imtiaz Ali.

Coming to Kalki 2, around 30 percent of the filming is reportedly complete so far. The shoot is expected to pick up pace once Prabhas wraps up his other ongoing projects. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is being produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. With its ambitious storyline, expansive world and ensemble cast, the sequel has already created considerable anticipation. However, the film’s team is yet to officially clarify the reports regarding Naseeruddin Shah’s role.
