IMAX Eyes These Films After Varanasi?

Following Varanasi, IMAX is reportedly exploring the possibility of bringing more big-budget Telugu films into the IMAX format. Discussions are said to be underway with several filmmakers about shooting their projects using IMAX-certified cameras. According to industry reports, God of War, AA23, RC17 and Kalki 2 are among the Telugu projects currently being considered for IMAX.

With some of these films being mounted on a large scale, the use of IMAX technology could offer audiences a more expansive cinematic experience. However, it is not yet clear which of the projects will officially be shot using IMAX-certified cameras. The discussions between the IMAX team, filmmakers and production houses are reportedly continuing, with official announcements expected to provide clarity on the final line-up.
