

Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has expressed deep shock over the death of Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) Venkanna, who lost his life while on duty in Bhupalpally district. According to officials, the tragic incident occurred when a tipper lorry allegedly rammed into Venkanna while he was conducting vehicle inspections near the Transport Department office. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
The minister ordered a detailed inquiry into the accident and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He assured that the state government would extend all possible support to Venkanna’s family. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also expressed profound grief over the incident and directed Joint Transport Commissioner Chandrasekhar Goud to conduct a comprehensive investigation and submit a detailed report. The Chief Minister further assured that the government would stand by the family in every possible way.
