

Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy announced that tenders will soon be invited for the proposed double-decker flyover between LB Nagar and Hayathnagar, with construction works expected to commence within a year. He also revealed that tenders for a six-lane highway project up to Vijayawada, along with a two-lane service road, will be floated next month at an estimated cost of ₹10,410 crore.
Earlier, the minister laid the foundation stone for modern four-lane road works worth ₹338 crore in Ibrahimpatnam, Medchal, and Malkajgiri constituencies under the HAM model at Thorrur in Rangareddy district. Speaking at a meeting chaired by Ibrahimpatnam MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy, he said a Detailed Project Report has been prepared for a greenfield road and a parallel bullet train corridor as part of the Future City initiative. Officials were directed to prepare an additional ₹100 crore proposal for three more roads in Ibrahimpatnam. Several public representatives, including MP Kiran Kumar Reddy, participated in the event.
