Singareni Ready for Mining Partnership with US Companies

Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) is ready to collaborate with American companies in exploring and extracting rare minerals, the company’s Chairman and Managing Director, Dr. Buddha Prakash Jyoti, said. A high level delegation led by Meredith Metzler, Head of the Political and Economic Section at the US Consulate in Hyderabad, met Dr. Buddha Prakash Jyoti at Singareni Bhavan on Friday. During the meeting, both sides held detailed discussions on mining technology, potential collaborations and other areas of cooperation.

Dr. Buddha Prakash Jyoti said Singareni was looking to attract foreign investment, adopt advanced technologies and collaborate with research institutions to strengthen its mining operations. Responding to the proposal, the American delegation said there were opportunities to work with companies in the United States that are active in the rare minerals sector. The discussions focused on exploring possibilities for cooperation between Singareni and American firms in the mining and rare minerals sectors.
