Shocking Incident in Engineering College

A shocking incident has been reported under the Ibrahimpatnam police station limits in Hyderabad, where a fellow engineering student allegedly raped a classmate. According to CI Mahender Reddy, the accused, Uday from Choutuppal in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, is a third-year BTech student at a college in Ibrahimpatnam, Ranga Reddy district.

On the night of the 14th, he reportedly took his classmate for tea to Dilsukhnagar and later purchased alcohol while returning. He then took her to a secluded area on the BDL road and made her consume alcohol as well. Police said he later took her to a room in Ibrahimpatnam and committed the assault. Based on the victim’s complaint filed on the 17th, police registered a case and arrested the accused on Monday, sending him to judicial remand.
