Royal Enfield has announced a major expansion plan with an investment of ₹2,200 crore to set up a new manufacturing and vendor hub in Satyavedu, Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh. This marks the company’s first significant expansion outside Tamil Nadu since its establishment in 1901. The project is expected to boost production capacity by nearly 9 lakh units and strengthen India’s position in the global premium motorcycle market.
The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board approved the project, which will be developed in two phases by 2029 and 2032. The government has allocated 267 acres of land for the facility. The project is expected to generate around 5,000 direct and indirect jobs and includes a vendor park to develop a strong automotive ecosystem in the region.
