Relief for Hyderabad Traffic.. Approval Granted for Two New Flyovers

The Standing Committee has approved the construction of two major flyovers worth ₹685 crore to ease traffic congestion in the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation limits of Hyderabad. The projects will be taken up on the Nagole–Bandlaguda and Hastinapuram–BN Reddy routes.

A six-lane, 3.2-km flyover will be constructed at the Hastinapuram, BN Reddy Nagar, and Sagar Complex junctions on the Sagar Highway at an estimated cost of ₹550 crore. Another two-lane flyover will be built on the Nagole–Bandlaguda route at a cost of ₹135 crore. The proposals have been sent to the state government for final approval.
