The Andhra Pradesh government has given the green signal for the pooling of 2,344.12 acres of land as part of Amaravati’s capital development. Orders have reportedly been issued for acquiring land in Motadaka village of Tadikonda mandal for the construction of the Inner Ring Road and the Erraballam–Namburu railway line. The land to be pooled includes 689.861 acres of government land, 1,627.44 acres of patta land and 26.819 acres of assigned land.
Officials have also earmarked seven acres for the Amaravati Inner Ring Road and 39.74 acres for the railway line. The land pooling is expected to facilitate key road and railway infrastructure projects in the capital region. Once the process is completed, construction activities for these projects are likely to gain further momentum.
