In an effort to ease traffic congestion in Hyderabad, city police will conduct a one-way traffic trial around KBR Park on June 21. The trial will be implemented from morning until night, allowing vehicle movement only in a single direction on key roads surrounding the park. Officials said the initiative is aimed at improving traffic flow and reducing bottlenecks in one of the city’s busiest zones.
The one-way system will cover areas including KBR Park, Cancer Hospital, Oris Island, Film Nagar, Journalist Colony, Road No. 45, and Jubilee Hills Check Post. Police have also removed U-turns near Film Nagar Road No. 45 to streamline traffic movement. The effectiveness of the trial will be reviewed before taking a final decision on permanent implementation.
