Free Aadhaar Email Update

Aadhaar card holders have received good news as the government has extended the facility to update or link an email address with Aadhaar free of cost until December 31, 2026. Normally, this service costs ₹75, but the fee has been waived for a limited period. The initiative is aimed at helping users receive Aadhaar related updates and notifications on their current email accounts.

The process can be completed through the official Aadhaar app. Users need to log in using their 12-digit Aadhaar number and the OTP sent to their registered mobile number. After selecting the email update option, they can enter their new Gmail address, verify the details, and submit the request. The updated email is expected to be reflected within 15 days.
