A major fraud involving Tirumala darshan arrangements has come to light, with an alleged broker accused of cheating dozens of devotees. The accused, identified as Nimmala Srinivasulu, reportedly collected ₹4.22 lakh from around 60 devotees by promising to arrange special darshan at Tirumala. According to the victims, he charged between ₹6,000 and ₹8,000 per person for the service.
After collecting the money, the accused allegedly switched off his phone and became unreachable, leaving devotees stranded. Victims from Guntur, Hyderabad, and Karnataka have lodged complaints with the police, claiming they were deceived. Authorities are reportedly investigating the matter and gathering further details.
