A major suicide attack was reportedly carried out on a Pakistan Coast Guard camp in Gwadar district of Balochistan. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the assault, stating that an explosives-filled vehicle targeted the Panwan Coast Guard base located in Jiwani. According to the group's statement, the powerful blast caused heavy casualties among security personnel.
The BLA claimed that at least 30 paramilitary personnel were killed and several others sustained injuries in the attack. While the group has taken responsibility for the incident, officials are expected to verify the casualty figures and conduct a detailed investigation. The attack has once again highlighted the continuing security challenges in Pakistan's Balochistan region.
