Balapur Ganesh Laddu Auction Updates

Preparations are complete for the much-awaited Balapur Ganesh laddu auction in Hyderabad. The auction process is scheduled to begin at 9:30 AM. According to updates from the organisers, nine bidders are expected to participate this year, with each reportedly depositing ₹35 lakh. With the auction price of the famous Balapur laddu rising steadily over the years, there is speculation that the final bid could increase by another ₹4–5 lakh this year. The laddu fetched ₹35 lakh in the 2025 auction.

Meanwhile, around eight lakh devotees have reportedly visited Balapur Ganesh this year. The organisers have created a special pandal modelled on the iconic Puri Jagannath Temple, which has attracted considerable attention from devotees. Balapur Ganesh Utsav Samithi chairman Kellam Niranjan Reddy said the unique setup has been well received. Around 70 artists reportedly worked for nearly a month to create the elaborate pandal.
