Police have intensified the investigation into the Vijayawada Sai Krishna case by examining the cremation of unidentified bodies at Swargapuri crematorium. Investigators are focusing on incidents that took place on May 24 and 25, as part of efforts to verify the sequence of events.
According to crematorium staff, two unidentified bodies were brought to Swargapuri around 8 PM on May 23, despite the rule that no bodies are accepted after 6 PM. The staff reportedly allowed the bodies to be kept in the mortuary after receiving instructions over the phone from a local sanitary inspector.
Police are also verifying documents allegedly issued in the name of Krishna Lanka Police Station and have confirmed that the two unidentified bodies were cremated on May 24. Officials are examining whether all procedures were followed properly as the investigation continues.
