A disturbing incident has been reported at a Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) hostel in Bheemili, Visakhapatnam, where the braids of 10 Class 9 girls were allegedly cut while they were asleep. According to reports, the incident took place during the night of September 16. Six girls sleeping in one room and four girls in another were reportedly affected. The students noticed the incident after waking up and informed the school principal.
