

Mutual fund SIP investments continue to attract investors looking for long-term wealth creation through disciplined monthly investing. An ETMutualFunds analysis of nearly 293 equity mutual fund schemes found that nine schemes delivered more than 30% returns on SIP investments over the last one year. Eight of these belonged to the small-cap category, while one was a focused fund. Overall, 182 schemes generated positive SIP returns, 83 delivered double-digit returns, while around 111 recorded negative returns during the period.
Bank of India Small Cap Fund topped the list with a 45.95% SIP return. A monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 would have grown to approximately Rs 1.46 lakh over the period, according to the analysis. TRUSTMF Small Cap Fund followed with 41.53%, while Motilal Oswal Focused Fund and Helios Small Cap Fund delivered 38.30% and 38.17%, respectively. Motilal Oswal Small Cap Fund returned 35%, followed by ITI Small Cap Fund at 34.78%. Union Small Cap Fund delivered 33.24%, LIC MF Small Cap Fund 32.44%, and JM Small Cap Fund 31.29%.
