

Sridhar Vembu, the founder of Zoho Corporation, has shared an interesting incident that has gone viral on social media. According to Vembu, a customer recently told him that the renewal cost of their Microsoft license had increased significantly. When the customer mentioned that they were considering switching to Zoho Office Suite, Microsoft reportedly revised its offer and reduced the renewal price by an impressive 90 percent.
Vembu said the customer had previously used Zoho products, which may have strengthened the negotiation. Interestingly, the customer eventually thanked him, saying that even without purchasing Zoho's products, simply mentioning the company's name helped save a substantial amount of money. However, Vembu did not reveal the identity of the customer.
