Apple has reportedly started manufacturing the premium iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models in India ahead of their expected global unveiling in September. With strong demand anticipated in the US and European markets, Apple is using its Indian manufacturing facilities to support global supplies. A large share of the iPhone 18 Pro models produced in India is expected to be exported to the US and Europe, while some units will be sold in the domestic market.
Foxconn continues to play a major role in iPhone manufacturing, while Tata Electronics is also expanding its production capabilities. Foxconn’s Tamil Nadu facility is expected to handle iPhone 18 Pro production for international supply. While Tata Electronics previously focused on manufacturing base iPhone models, the company is now expected to expand into Pro models as well. Industry sources also suggest that Apple could unveil its first foldable iPhone alongside the iPhone 18 series at its annual September event.
