IPL 2026 Playoff Race Intensifies as Four Teams Fight for Final Knockout Spot!

The battle for the fourth and final playoff spot in IPL 2026 has become extremely intense, with Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals still in contention. On May 24, Rajasthan Royals will take on Mumbai Indians in a crucial afternoon clash. A win for Rajasthan would seal their playoff qualification with 16 points and officially knock out Punjab, KKR and Delhi. However, if Rajasthan lose, the evening clash between KKR and Delhi Capitals at Eden Gardens could become decisive. KKR can qualify if both Rajasthan and Punjab lose and Kolkata secure a win. Delhi’s chances, meanwhile, could depend heavily on net run rate and even weather interruptions.
