Gujarat Titans delivered a dominant performance in the final league match, crushing Chennai Super Kings and ending their playoff hopes. Batting first in Ahmedabad, Gujarat posted a massive total of 229 runs, putting CSK under immediate pressure.
In reply, CSK’s chase collapsed early as Mohammed Siraj (3/26) struck crucial blows, dismissing key batters including Ruturaj Gaikwad. Shivam Dube fought back with a spirited 47-run knock, but Rashid Khan (3/18) turned the match firmly in Gujarat’s favour with a brilliant spell.
Rashid Khan and Kagiso Rabada (3/32) further dismantled the CSK batting lineup, restricting them to 140 all out. With a commanding 89-run victory, Gujarat Titans secured a dominant win, while Chennai Super Kings exited the tournament.
