Gold Medal Coach Nita Dadwe Gets Grand Welcome in Hyderabad

Arjuna Award-winning coach Nita Dadwe, who guided the Indian women’s kabaddi team during its gold-medal campaign at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, received a warm welcome upon her arrival in Hyderabad. Officials from the Telangana Sports Authority, representatives of the Telangana Kabaddi Association and kabaddi players gathered at Shamshabad International Airport to greet her.

During the reception, officials and association representatives appreciated Dadwe’s contribution to the Indian team’s successful campaign. They highlighted her coaching, preparation and strategic guidance as important factors in the team’s performance at the Asian Games. The event was attended by Telangana Kabaddi Association secretary Mahender Reddy, advisers Jagadeesh Yadav and other association representatives, Telangana Sports Authority Deputy Director Ashok Kumar, PRO Kaleru Suresh, kabaddi players and others.
