‘The Traitors’ Hosted by Teja Sajja.. A New Mind-Game Show Arrives on OT

Following the popularity of reality formats such as Bigg Boss, another strategy-driven show is set to enter the Telugu OTT space. Amazon Prime Video has officially announced the Telugu adaptation of ‘The Traitors’, with young actor Teja Sajja, known for HanuMan, serving as the host. The show will feature 20 celebrity contestants and revolve around trust, strategy, deception and secret alliances.

In ‘The Traitors’, contestants must identify the secretly designated Traitors while working together and navigating a series of strategic challenges. The format is associated with the royal Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, the setting used for the Indian edition. Following the success of the Hindi franchise, the Telugu adaptation has generated interest among OTT audiences. The official streaming date and the full list of 20 Telugu contestants are yet to be announced.
