TRS chief Kavitha has written an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of his scheduled visit to Telangana on May 10. She urged the Prime Minister to take immediate decisions on key issues concerning the state’s development and backward communities. In her letter, she demanded national project status for the Palamuru–Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme, inclusion of BC enumeration in the 2027 national census, a sub-quota for BC women in the women’s reservation bill, and approval of the Telangana BC bill. She also emphasized the need for accurate population data for BC communities and fair representation in reservations, urging BJP MPs from the state to bring these issues to the Prime Minister’s attention.
