

The final phase of Panchayat election polling in Telangana concluded peacefully today. Polling was held from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., during which voters exercised their franchise in an orderly manner.
Vote counting for the posts of Sarpanch and ward members is scheduled to begin from 2:00 p.m. The Vice-Sarpanch elections will be conducted thereafter. Voters who were standing in the queue before 1:00 p.m. were allowed to cast their votes.
As part of the counting process, postal ballots will be counted first, followed by the counting of ballot papers. In this final phase, polling was conducted across the state for 3,753 Sarpanch posts and 28,410 ward member posts.
Except for a few minor incidents, no major untoward incidents were reported, allowing officials to breathe a sigh of relief. During the third phase of elections, the police deployed heavy security arrangements to ensure that the polling process was conducted smoothly and without any clashes.
