High Court Issues Notices to BRS MLAs

The Telangana High Court has issued notices to seven Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLAs in connection with the ongoing defection controversy. Notices were also served to the Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker after his recent ruling that 10 BRS MLAs had not defected from the party. The decision sparked legal challenges from within the party.

A petition was filed against MLAs including Danam Nagender, Arekapudi Gandhi, Kale Yadaiah, Prakash Goud, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, and Tellam Venkata Rao. The court directed the respondents to file counter affidavits, and the next hearing has been adjourned to the 16th of next month.
