BJP-RSS Separatist Ideology Is a Threat to the Country- YS Sharmila

APCC president YS Sharmila has launched a strong attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP-RSS, alleging that their ideology and separatist approach pose the real threat to the country. She said people should remain vigilant against the ideology of the BJP and RSS and argued that the BJP should be politically isolated. Sharmila also said she was proud to call herself a “Dimagi Naxal” for opposing what she described as BJP-RSS extremism. She criticised Modi’s Independence Day remarks, alleging that they reflected political frustration, fear and insecurity.

Sharmila further alleged that referring to opposition leaders as “Urban Naxals” and “Dimagi Naxals” was an attempt to discredit those who question the government. She accused the BJP of attempting to suppress dissent and freedom of expression while avoiding questions over government failures. She also alleged that the party was seeking to replace constitutional values with Manusmriti and create divisions along caste and religious lines. According to Sharmila, such politics could contribute to unrest and instability in the country.
