Bhumana Karunakar Reddy Alleges TTD Room Booking Irregularities

Bhumana Karunakar Reddy has alleged serious irregularities in the online booking of accommodation managed by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. Addressing the media, he claimed that rooms officially priced at ₹1,000 were being listed for as much as ₹18,000 on the Agoda platform. According to him, accommodations such as Aditya Birla Guest House, Panchajanyam, and Vakulamatha Guest House were found listed online. He also released video evidence related to the alleged listings and questioned why TTD had not taken effective action against fake booking platforms.

Bhumana further alleged that instead of addressing these issues, criticism was being directed at those highlighting the lapses. He recalled that during his tenure, action had been taken against 48 fake websites offering fraudulent TTD bookings. The former TTD chairman also raised questions over the Navaneethamma darshan issue, demanding the release of CCTV footage and alleging inconsistencies in the statements made by the Chief Minister and the TTD Chairman. He urged TTD to strengthen vigilance and take immediate steps to prevent devotees from falling victim to fake booking applications.
