‘Bandar’ on OTT

‘Bandar’, the suspense drama starring Bobby Deol and Sanya Malhotra, is set to make its digital debut. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film features Sapna Pabbi, Saba Azad, Indrajith Sukumaran and Raj B. Shetty in key roles. Produced jointly by Nikhil Dwivedi and Anurag Kashyap, the movie has music by Amit Trivedi and Vishal Mishra. Released theatrically on June 5, 2026, the film received critical appreciation. It has now been officially announced that ‘Bandar’ will begin streaming on ZEE5 from August 28, 2026.

The story revolves around Samar Mehra, a 50-year-old former pop star and television actor whose career has faded. After parting ways with his former girlfriend Gayatri, Samar faces a serious criminal accusation. Despite insisting that he is innocent, he is portrayed negatively by the media and the public and eventually ends up in prison. The film follows his struggle to survive amid harassment from fellow inmates. Rather than providing a definitive answer about the truth, the story leaves the final judgment to the audience.
