

Revanth Reddy announced that the government remains committed to farmer welfare despite financial challenges. He released funds under the Rythu Bharosa scheme to support farmers with investment assistance. The government has allocated ₹9,000 crore to benefit around 1.5 crore acres, with ₹3,590 crore released in the first phase during a public meeting in Siddipet district.
He stated that the amount would be credited to farmers’ accounts on Monday due to the holiday. The remaining funds will be distributed in two more phases, with ₹2,650 crore and ₹2,760 crore to follow. The Chief Minister emphasized that the government has already spent ₹1.40 lakh crore on farmers and continues to provide bonuses and compensation for crop losses.
Revanth Reddy also stressed the need for crop diversification and urged farmers to follow successful models like Ankapur. He highlighted plans to promote agricultural exports and empower women economically. Additionally, he inaugurated an oil palm factory in Narmetta and laid the foundation for a refinery plant, aiming to boost rural development and employment.
