India’s largest airline, IndiGo, faced criticism after its Chennai–Singapore flight (6E1025) was delayed by nearly five hours on February 24. Around 200 passengers were made to wait inside the aircraft despite boarding early. The airline cited cabin temperature issues as the reason for the delay. Passengers alleged lack of clear communication and discomfort due to repeated switching of air conditioning.
The disruption comes amid operational challenges linked to DGCA’s revised Flight Duty Time Limitation norms, which have reportedly increased staffing pressures.
