Even Palle Velugu, Only AC Electric Buses Should Run..

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu reviewed APSRTC operations. He directed that even where “Palle Velugu” buses are running, only AC electric buses should operate. Next year, 1,450 new electric buses will be added and another 1,050 buses will come from the central government for the Pushkaralu festival.

New charging stations are being set up in the Godavari districts. Over the next five years, 8,819 diesel buses will be replaced with AC electric buses. The CM also stated that these buses will have a lifespan of over eight years.
